About
Hey, Iβm Heather
Hey, Iβm Heather, a photographer based in Manchester. Hopefully someone whoβll end up making you laugh within five minutes of us meeting. I feel laughter is the best way to make new friends.
Best photos happen when youβre relaxed, comfortable, and honestly just having a good time. Thatβs why my job isnβt just to take pictures. Itβs to create a space where you feel like youβre spending time with a friend, not posing for a camera.
Iβll happily make a goof of myself if it helps you loosen up (and trust me, It works). Iβm not into stiff, overly serious photos. I want to capture you as you are. The way you look when no one else is watching, the belly laughs and all the real moments in between.
Iβm also autistic, which for me means I pay attention to the small details others often miss. I notice body language, energy, and atmosphere β and I use that sensitivity to create photos that feel honest and deeply personal.
I aim for timeless images that will still make you feel something 30 years from now. This isnβt about trends or filters β itβs about you. Your story.
Letβs make something beautiful together!

The real me
My favourite things
Because choosing a photographer is personal & you deserve to know the real me.
01. Laughing until I cry.
I love people who can be silly. If weβre giggling during your shoot, weβre doing it right.
02. Traveling and hiking with Owen.
New places, winding paths, quiet forests β they light me up. My partner Owen and I love long walks with no real plan. Those still, honest moments in nature inspire how I shoot, too.
03. Forest green. Always.
If you had to describe me in a colour, itβd be this one. Deep, grounding, a little bit mysterious β and found everywhere in the wild.
04. The sky in all its moods.
Sunrises, sunsets, storms, stars, the moon β Iβm always looking up. Thereβs something comforting about how constant and ever-changing it is. If youβve ever stopped mid-conversation to admire the clouds, weβd probably get along really well.
